Hobbyangle on pond Nový - Staré Splavy

Dear fishermen,

let us introduce interesting place for undisturbed fishing placed less than kilometer from well known summer recreation center – Mácha lake.
Recreation center Staré Splavy is positioned 70km northern from Prague and close to the motorway: Mladá Boleslav – Česká Lípa. If you drive to the town named Staré Splavy and turn left at the first branch (in front of the rail), you will be directly led to the pond with its 2,5 hectares area and depth between 1 – 3 meters. This pond is repeatedly filled by fish. All sorts of fish are affected here except salmon fish.
It has not been permitted fishing on this pond for 14 years, so that crop the big fish in not rarity. Fishing is available for anybody, permission is possible to buy close to the pond and eventually you can rent complet fishing equipment. Drinks and food are available in hut near the pond. Parking places are free close to the hut. Besides next to the ponds is big camp where is possible to arrange all-day catering or acommodation.
